Responsibilities: Responsible directly for 24 staff members and indirectly, their residents (about 20 percent of the university’s student population); monitor health and safety standards; monitor my staff’s work in developing their communities, promoting social justice; conduct biweekly staff meetings

House Manager of Farm House, 2009- 2010 and 2010- 2011

Responsible for creating at minimum 12 social justice themed programs a year, but over the two year period I created over 50, including: Leading workshops on Women’s nutritional health and environmental impacts; Bringing guest lecturers to campus (like: the founders of Bloodroot Feminist Vegetarian Restaurant, Mark Winne, Executive Director of the Hartford Food System and food policy author, multiple workshops on Wild Edibles Foraging, the Bee Hive Collective, and more); Organizing Film Screenings (i.e. Food Fight screening with the director present); Community Building with events (like bread making, weekly house dinners, and other food workshops); Organizing community outreach events involving the university’s farm (see below)
